You thought this through pretty well!
I like the Chargers at 12-4 right there behind the Broncos. Right on there! I also like that you have the Steelers falling out of the playoffs. They are not that great of a team so I think you nailed that too. Good pick for New England- still taking the division but not dominant.
Just a few things I would differ on- you were a little generous to the Jaguars. 12-4 seems too good to be true. They are more like 9-7 maybe 10-6. Baltimore is probably about the same. I would probably have Kansas City being 10-6 and edging out the Jaguars for the 6th playoff spot.
Other than that it looks good. I'd be interested in seeing your NFC picks!

I have three big problems with your predictions, other than that your pretty much thinkin like a champ/me. first is that saying Jacksonville will go 12-4 is quite a big reach... i dont see anything that i like... taylor's not consistent, neither is leftwich... just seems like they are barely hanging on every win they get. second has to be the Pittsburg steelers going 8-8... i mean i hate them as much as any hater could, being that i live in seattle, but jesus that qb is just unstoppable... not only can you not stop him on the football field but you can't stop him when hes on a motorcycle... unless you have a maybe an automobile on the field he could run into.... point is they are the new patriots... which leads me to 3rd point.... THE MIA dolphins will not finish 8-8... and the Patriots are already down... The pats lost several key players in the offseason while the Dolphins only gained key players... I've been sayin it since the last dolphin game last season(against the patriots, dont gimme the bs about 2nd string cuz a wins a win) saban is the new shula.... sittin pretty are the dolphins on top of the pats... sorry boston...

Pretty much agree except for a few of things:
1) I see Baltimore taking the North at 11-5, 1 game ahead of Cincy.
2) I think Houston will be better than that 3-14 you've got them at (even though they have a brutal schedule)...I think 6 wins for them.
3) San Diego ahead of KC in the West? I say no way. The Chargers will be 8-8 at best this year...Rivers will disappoint and they'll rely too much on LT and he'll not finish the season healthy.

Buffalo is a much better team than 4-12, and certainly better than the Jets. They have improved in every preseason game and will continue to improve throughout the regular season. Expect them to finish strong. JP, Willis, the oline, the coaching...basically everything and everyone has shown to be much improved and I think it'll be obvious to anyone who watches us play the Pats.
I'd also like to dispute Baltimore. What qualifies "getting better." 'Cause don't say McNair. He hasn't played a whole season in something like 2-3 years. They may do well with him at the helm, but it's only a matter of time before he gets hurt and they're back to square 1.
And no way San Diego does that good. My guess is your Bills bashing is based on what you know of JP? Well, consider this....Rivers is even less experienced. He's going to make a lot of bad reads and probably plenty of mistakes due to a lack of real NFL playing experience, and if he doesn't figure himself out quick, LT is going to find that everyone's in the box and not even LT can get the job done enough in those conditions.

East -
-You have the right order, but no way NE doesn't winn 11 games. Yes Miami improved; but they were only 9-7 because the Pats laid down in week 17 last year. Pats defense is back, and Brady never has a problem finding someone to throw to. Culpepper is too stupid to handle what NE throws at him. Wait and see.
North -
- Pitt wins the division at 10-6
- Bengals have defensive woes, sorry 9-7
- Baltimore- theyhaven't improved that much - 7-9
- Cleveland - 5-11, they are improving though
South -
Right order again, but too many wins for JAX (I give them 10-6 at best). 6 wins is too many for Tennessee (4-12). Houston you have dead-on.
West -
Denver - 11-5 (Though this could be the year Plummer self-destructs)
KC - 10-6
SD - I know they're your team, but you really think Phil Rivers can win 12 games?? No way, 7-9 (8-8 at BEST).
OAK - juts awful, but I give them 5 wins this year.

Were you a little bias with San Diego going 12-4 with Rivers and really no fantastic WRs? 10-6 at best...
New England might finish 2nd behind Miami. Miami was 9-7 last season, one game behind NE...NE lost their WRs...and several other important players while Miami gained....so I take Miami above NE actually....Indy...probably right..but Jax lost Jimmy Smith, big shoes to fill for Jones and Wilford...who are capable...12-4 is still pushing it a little for this team....AFC North is like perfectly matched to my guess...a little different where I put Pitts at 10-6 and Cleveland at 6-10...but the order the same.
But you're definately a bit hopeful on those Chargers....

AFC East - Miami gets the division.
AFC North- Pittsburgh. That wasn't luck. Sounds like sour grapes from you. Cincy looks good but Palmer isn't going to last that long with his knee in a brace.
AFC South- Indy tanks. Jacksonville takes the division
AFC West- Denver

I pretty much agree. I like your Denver confidence. I think Pittsburg is still a powerhouse though.
