I would hope that someone at home would open up my computer and find some of the poems I quietly wrote. One to fit just this type of situation:

Tempus Fugit.

Tempus Fugit - or as you know - Time Flies,
Just ten minutes more, to say ones goodbyes.
To say all those things, not said in ones life,
But now ‘tis too late, when ones on that last flight.

To have told those you loved, how much you did love,
To ask for forgiveness from Him up above.
To have paid back those favours, ones had in ones years,
To have told those behind, not to shed any tears.

For mine was a good life, a happy one too,
And who do I thank, no one else only you.
You gave me your all, the best years of your life,
You gave me our children, I thank you - my wife.

To those who have liked me, I thank you my friends,
To those who did not, no time for amends,
So think of me kindly, just once in a while,
And whenever you do, do it with a smile.

So goodbye one and all, I wish you farewell,
‘Till we meet again, be it Heaven or Hell,
The game it is over, the last round has been played,
My final engagement – that the piper be paid.

------------------------

The Vale of Clara.

Cast my dust to the four winds, beside a Wicklow Hill,
In a lonely vale, beside a stream where all around is still.
Where the silence is only broken, by some wild bird’s call,
Where small brown trout, play freely about, above the waterfall.

Beyond the bridge, a chapel stands, as white as snow can be,
There, light some penny candles, for past friends and for me.
Then say a prayer that I may rest, where peace will me enfold,
And ask my God, if he sees fit, to have mercy on my soul.

And in the distant future, my one and only wish,
Is that a great, great grandchild, shall wander there to fish.
And if by chance, a trout is caught, just gently set it free,
Then this sweet vale, will Heaven be, forever more to me.

I'm too young to die tomorrow. I didn't live a happy and fulfilling life yet, because I've only been here for nearly 17 years and I've been stuck in school for that time and my summers have been boring and I moved a lot.

I don't think people will remember me that well or truly because I'm at the point in my life where I'm trying to find out who I am and where I belong.

The only regret is that my engagement was never fullfilled. But yes, as of now I have lived a fulfilling life of service to my family, friends, and country. I've also lived a very learnable life with many tripping stones scattered about. I think ones who know me well will remember me for my big heart and how I always wanted to do more for others.

No, I would not think that I had a fulfilling life and people would remember me as that guy who would do absolutely anything for them.

Well If I died tomorrow, I wouldn't feel anything now would I? I would be dead and you can't feel anything I'm dead. But my soul would probably be happy and sad at the same time. I don't think I"ve accomplished anything, but I'm glad I wouldn't have to live in this hell whole of a life anymore. A few people would remember besides my family of course.

I would feel like I threw my life away in a marriage that I am not happy in.
People would remember me as lonely and sad all the time..the left out of everything person and very shy person.

No, I would be very angry because I haven't done all the things I've dreamed about doing. I think people would remember me fondly, but I would still have wanted to do a lot of things I haven't been able to yet.

Wow, the very thought of missing out on the three day weekend caused my life to flash before my eyes. It was short and boring.

What if I didn't?

Yes. I've done everything I could do that I wanted to do up till now.

Everyone already says that I'm loving, smart and strong-willed.
