contrary to what another person said, you do NOT need to get the baby out before having the surgery. you did not say how far along you are, but anesthesia is very safe for the baby. there may be a connection between midazolam (a valium-like drug) and development of a cleft palate, so anesthesiologists don;t use that drug on pregnant women.
the important thing is that oxygen delivery to the fetus is maintained. if you have appendicitis, you need your appendix out - it's more dangerous for the baby NOT to have the surgery.

Well, I have a cousin that had that surgery and they had to take out the baby, because of the drugs that put you to sleep. Appendicities is a rather easy surgery but they have to put you to sleep, they can not use local drugs, so that's why they have to take the baby out. My cousin was 7,5 months when this happened. I'm not sure how drs handle this when you are not that far along. Ask your dr about your concerns, I dont know more than this.
Good luck

If your appendix ruptures that is more dangerous. Talk to your doctor very seriously if you think you are having a problem with your appendix. Any operation while you are pregnant has it's risks, so make sure it is absolutely needed, but if you really think you may have appendicitis call your doctor right away- that's really serious.

It would be MORE dangerous to not have your appendix out if it needs out. If it burst then there would be a huge risk of infection that would put both mom and baby at risk.
Talk to your doctor about your concerns. Make a list of questions so you don't forget anything you want to ask.

If we agree that technology can get replaced, the drug enterprise ought to no longer have an excuse of increasing medicine costs because of the fact of regulation journey.additionally if we glance on the different area that has used the socialist gadget it has slowed down and did no longer stay as much as its Utopian promise. No gadget is acceptable yet open and loose industry is the perfect available.

You can have that operation while pregnant, one of my friends whose pregnant had that operation at about 6 months pregnant. Her baby is fine. Just talk to your doctor about it if you are concerned.

Read this, if you think you have it, you'd better see a doctor to confirm the diagnosis.

If the doctor says it's okay then you should trust them on that--not a bunch of strangers on the internet.
