Just before you mobile rings, the network sends a message to it that bassically says "there is a call for you". Your mobile switches it's transmitter on to answer. Because the mobile is not absolutely sure how much power it needs to transmit to be detected, it will probably transmit at a higher power than absolutely necessary (it does depend on which system it uses). It is this burst that is causing interference.

You do not say if the speakers are connected to the audio equipment with wires or via a wireless link. You do not say what your source of music is, radio, CD etc. so it is not possible to say why it is happening exactly and how you might fix or reduce the problem.

The microwaves from the phone goes through the speaker which then makes it produce the sound. Some speakers are magnetically shielded to stop stray radio waves from making a sound.

interference

electrical currents and magnetic feilds can interfere with the speakers. I have the same problem, except it is if I stand in certain places in relation to the speakers (it is me, and not my phone that interferes).

I believe that there are some companie making radiation sheilds for phones, but I don't know if one of those would help (they are supposed to prevent cancer caused by radiation). Skeptical about that, but you could try it and see if it changes the interference.
