France, New Zealand, Norway, Sweeden don't have many at all.France has like no fast food places though, because it's too American for them. They can't handle the pressure ya know?
Also 3rd world countries that don't have proper infastrcuture to support them (parts of Africa, Iran, Afghanistan, ect).
Places with the most fast food places are United States, England, Canada and to some extent Mexico.

I think it is less popular in Europe then in North American and Asia. But over the last few years I see more and more fast food places in Europe, which is scary. The only thing is they tend to have more healthy choses. Like here in Denmark you can get carrots instead of fries. Don't know if that is a popular option but you can get it. I think here in Europe they kind of have their own "fast food" too. Like sandwich places, hotdog venders and Kebob everywhere. You could literally get a Shawarma every block here in Copenhagen and I think Germany is like that too.
Other then that it isn't so popular in really poor countries because they can't afford it. There is no McDonald's in Afghanistan although there is a Subway and Burger King on some of the Army bases

I've been all over the world and I haven't found such a place. Someone answered Nepal, and that's a bunch of crap, because they have a KFC on almost every corner in Khatmandu, as well as Baskin Robbins. China is also starting to see the health problems associated with fast food, and India is about to have a Starbucks explosion. If you want to aviod fast food, you'll need to go ro rural areas of 3rd world countries, such as Sierra Leone or Bangledesh.

Simply - the countries that do not have the infrastructure to support it. Countries that do not have an ecconomy large enough that would attract big business to exploit a potential market for their products.
