"Hello evelyn!
The ego, super-ego, and id are the divisions of the psyche according to psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud's "structural theory". The id contains "primitive desires" (hunger, rage, and sex), the super-ego contains internalized norms, morality and taboos, and the ego mediates between the two and may include or give rise to the sense of self.
There is lots of evidence that theological theoreticians applied spiritual significance to them at one time or another."

id, ego, and superego are supposed to be parts of a person's mind. If you want to say that God, Satan, or Bush controls any of them, be my guest.
edit: I agree with the Bones, Spock, and Kirk suggestion. That rings true with my experiences.

I've seen the invocation of god for something as minor as a sporting event (the winning team undoubtedly thanks god for helping them win). So I would say any time you have any conflicts big or small, you can choose to liken it to a conflict between your god vs. whatever evils you can think of.
Doing so will not yield understanding of the subconscious and perhaps one day understand ourselves any better. But some people find value in defining their world in the context of their religious beliefs.

You can say that if you're crazy, or if you think Satan and God exist within every brain. It doesn't make any more sense than capitalizing Satan and using a lower case for God.

Any kind of triangle
Bones, Spock and Kirk
Snap, Crackle and Pop
Time, Love and Tenderness
It's an interesting theory. I'm not discounting it.
