Let me ask you a Q! What do you think of when you hear ppl talk about WMD? I think most ppl think of the Atomic bomb. Nay, nay, I say unto you persons foolishly educated!
Anthrax, Smallpox, TB, Hepatitis B&C, as well as certain nerve dibilitating agents come in very, very small packages. A single speck - the size of Lincoln's eye on the US penny - can kill a human in less than an hour and it only has to land on the skin!! Worse! There is NO antidote for it! Just be there, get spotted, and you're gone! I consider THAT a WMD. Let me explain.
Imagine a plane at 20-30 thousand feet enroute from Chicago to Houston. Some where over Cincinatti the plane explodes - not a large explosion, just enough to rip open the passenger area and destroy some flight controls. The plane will probably crash unless the pilot is extremely gifted and the damage isn't so bad, however, the stuff I mentioned above, the WMD, are released into the air and float gently down to earth and land on some unsuspecting folks and a few plants and animals. I'm sure you can use your own imagination from here. No need for me to become insulting.
I feel it's important that we all know that we - the USA - has had these exact chemicals for many, many years and we have yet to use them. For any reason! Money, power, beliefes, whatever.
To answer your Q, I must ask another; Can we afford to think they don't have them? And if they do? Will they use them?
FACT: So-damn Insane used them against his own ppl! As did his sons!! Seems like a mind-set happnin'
I'm sorry for all the pain and suffereing going on around the planet, and I wish it could end, but I feel it's irresponsible that anyone would prefer we do nothing except wait and see.

No Iran is chance-free i can assure you...Iran is definitely diverse from different Islamic countries...you spot, Iranian human beings have a cleric authorities yet maximum human beings in Iran are not any more non secular in any respect! humorous huh? and certain you're envisioned to cover your head in public because the authorities forbids females dressing like westerners notwithstanding the area replaced into very diverse before the 1979 Islamic Republic..*sigh* btw, I used to have an english boyfriend who worked in Tehran as a instructor :D

I am sure they have more than they are letting on and I don't think countries like Iran, which are full of finatics should have weapons at all. Life is so short why can't these people just enjoy the time they have here on earth.

It isn't probable, as Israel is still glow free. However, that doesn't mean the North Korea won't help them build a Nuke soon. They DO have chemical weapons and it is believed that they are working on Biological weapons. All of these are cause for great concern to the whole world.
I don't fear a regime that wants to build many nuclear weapons; I'm TERRIFIED by the regime that only wants ONE.

Iran is the second largest produce for OPEC. Iraq sold oil in euros in 2002, undermining the dollar and could have made USA bankrupt unless they replaced him. They are in negotiation with China to sell direct to them, rather than thru USA.
If they do this, then US up the spout, and China wont sit back and allow the west to threaten cheap oil now that russian supplies are dwindling.
Terrorism is due to idiot uneducated militant islamics. It is a futile response to the west's absolute dependancy on political control of the middle east for the only viable oil reserves on the planet. USA, UK etc all have sticky fingers in the oil pie.
Oh, and we sold saddam hussein the weapons that he used on his own people. We made a fortune, cos he was a good guy until he sold in euros. Then he was public enemy number one. USA needed a war, and an excuse. They tried selling the public with babies getting killed. No-one cared. They needed a big something to rally the people.
Nothing like a couple of planes careering into the twin towers.
Get saddam (who had fcuk all to do with Al Queda) off his euro throne and ensure the dollars keep on being printed.
Iran will be well aware of its precarious position. If it has managed to rattle together a nuclear weapon - guaranteed they will strike.
If China (largest standing army on the planet) decide to get in the ring, then we are all up the river without a paddle. Me, I'm brushing up on my Mandarin.
Americans - you have been and continue to be conned by your war president.

I think that they have the right to try to produce nuclear fuel in order to develop the country further economically and socially but America can't afford another war. It may have enough nuclear warheads to destroy the planet but if countries adopt guerilla tactics the US would be in serious trouble and that is what is happening.
