Since no one really answered your question, here I go, 1st off, like they said before me, RELIESE EVERYTHING WILL BE ERASED! So save important Items with G-friend's email :P or Memory cards.
Now, insert your Windows XP disk. Turn off then on your comp. Click a key tto start from disk, you will enter the setup, you wanna reinstall windows, where you go to do that it will tell you that installing it twice is bad.
Say ok and choose a Drive to install it in, it will now ask if you want to format computer, choose full format, and boom it will erase everything.
After the Shut off then turn on and let it run regularly, don't press any keys, it will go to the windows xP setup on it's own and it will install it, when it's done, install all drivers onto your comp. ( can be found at comp.'s website hopefully )
And there ya go, install internet and you're all good!

If you're running anything by Norton Symantec, uninstall it first and see if the problems clear up. DO NOT contact them for support if you value anything on your hard drive right now.
What kind of computer do you have? Presuming it's a prebuilt like a Dell or HP, etc., you should have a "System Restore" disk that came with the computer and you should run that. Just make sure you back up any personal files you want to keep first.
Also, if it's a prebuilt system and has anything Norton Symantec on it after you've restored and restarted your system, you need to uninstall it. For anti-virus I've been using AVG on this computer for over almost a year now and so far, no problems at all. My computer running Norton - well, it's being fixed right now due to poor programming and support on Norton's part. I'm praying the "experts" are able to retrieve my data.

Here are the instructions. Realize that if you do this, you will be deleting everything (all the music, pictures, videos, etc) off your computer. So if you have anything like that you want, be sure to copy it to a CD first.
Put the Windows CD into your CD drive
Boot up the PC and the Windows install should begin
Continue until after you have done the F8 to agree
You will be prompt to create a partition for installing Windows
Format the drive using NTFS (this will wipe everything)
Let the setup continue from there...

you actually prefer to recuperate your equipment. to attempt this you both choose the restore cd/dvd that got here with it, or no matter if that is a more effective recent equipment it ought to have a equipped in restore. this may format the hardcontinual and erase each and every thing on it. there is not any longer some thing left on the hardcontinual then it re installs homestead windows and some thing else that got here with your computing gadget. notwithstanding that is going to be precisely because it replaced into from the container. A clean slate so that you need to talk. in case you do not have equipped in restore and no cd/dvds for it, basically pass to the area of the producer of your computing gadget and put in the form and serial kind on your equipment and they ought to be able to provide the cd/dvd for this.( it ought to no longer be loose nonetheless). desire this helps. good success to you.

Go to your control panel on the start menu. Go to system properties and select the system restore tab. Set a date to restore to. This will wipe out all things back to that date. Don't lose anything you don't want to.

Before you do that, you have to realize that EVERYTHING will be gone. But if you still want to do that than you have to erase your hard drive.
