I 've already tried checking every fuse in the box and I can't seem to find where the relay flasher/blinker is, both underneath the dashboard and under the hood. Is there a special location for this flasher/blinker for this particular model of vehicle?

Are you sure it's not just the bulb itself that is burnt out? This would make it so that the circuit would not be completed - possibly? There's usually a fuse panel below the steering column and to the left, and often times one can even be found under the hood as well. Also - on the underside of the cover on these boxes, usually gives a very detailed diagram about where the location of each fuse is, and what functions it might take care of as well. If when you turn the turn signal on, and it blinks very fast, chances are it's the relay. If it stays solid, chances are it's the bulb itself. If it's the relay, locate the appropriate relay, and simply swap it out with another similar one found in the panel, and re-check the signal light to see if that fixed it. Often times I've found this is the quickest way to diagnose and fix the problem rather than buying the parts first and throw money at it. Good luck!

in most automobiles there is a silver canister with a plug on it that is used for the blinkers, it's usually under a dollar to replace, so i'd try that just to try it and if that doesn't work take it to someone who knows more than we do.

What do you mean by "won't work"? Try changing the bulb. It's the first culprit.
