why does agassi wait 5 sets.
he should play better earliar and cut
short his match times.
will help him in long run.

now I know you'll say this is not easy
but if he can play like that towards the end,
why not at the beginning

he didn't wait 5 sets - bagdahtis found his groove and probably would have beaten andre if not for the cramps and muscle strain.

Agassi is 59-0 when winning the first two sets during his career, but Baghdatis raised his game by leaps and bounds - probably to the point of overdoing himself. Baghdatis needs to learn to control himself to win matches and championships just as Andre Agassi did.

He obviously didn't WANT to play all 5 sets. C'mon, the man is getting up there. Yeah, obviously winning in 3 or 4 sets would be better for him and his health, but I though he played really well, and Baghdatis really stepped it up in the last sets. I gotta say congrats to Andre for making it this far in his last tournament. I'd like to see him go out on a high note.

jeez... cut the poor guy some slack, he's 36 years old, and working on a broken back, and playing at a very highly competative level. Do you think he WANTED that match to go five sets?

Because he gets paid for exposure by his sponsors, the longer he can draw eyes on him the more money he makes.
