there are no symtoms for HPV, the only way to find out is if you get a abnormal papsmear. its really hard for it to show on men, even on women the warts mostly form around the cervix. and it could cause cervical cancer. do you know that even if you use a condom you are able to get HPV. i heard they are making vaccinnes that prevent you for getting HPV, it just came out. But you have to start taking it when your about 9 years old and on. its a very common std. hopefully your daughter doesnt have it.

There are no definite signs everyone is different, although some strains can cause warts in that area, but not always. A girl or guy can have it and never know it b/c some people are only carriers for the virus and never show signs or have an irregular pap smear. A baby can get it during birth if the mother has the virus. It is also a STD so if you are sexually active and have it you should tell you partner about your situation.

Although anyone can get it, I know there is treatment options for this so women don't get cervical cancer. It's called the LEEP procedure. There are other procedures too but that's one of the common ones.

yes you can get HPV and end up with cancer if untreated. The symptoms are sometimes warts, no real physical symptoms that you could be able to tell. YOu can have it treated with Kryotherapy. that is where they freeze it off. It doesnt hurt much, just slight cramping and maybe some spotting. I've had it done twice. Was diagnosed in 1993, and have had no further symptoms since 1997. Go see the doctor if you are unsure.

Is your question weather or not young teenage girls can get HPV or weather or not girls with HPV can get cancer?

Anyone can get HPV, at any age if they have sexual contact with someone who has HPV. It is possible for any girl at any age who HPV to get cnacer from it, though I think that if the girl is younger the chances are slightly less.

Go to a OB/GYN for a test if you are worried. Knowing symptoms will not help unless you get the facts straight from your personal doctor.

Yes they can, by having sexual incourse with someone that has it. You should go to a special STD and STI clinics, if your younger that 18, but if your older I would go see a gynacolgist right away. They'd be better at telling you all the symptoms and stuff, then any of these hobos on here:)
