Ok, I have a question for all the ladies out there. The other day I went to a question for girls only as well.A young girl was asking about when she might get her first period. Also I noticed ladies answering like they were trying to scare her out of wanting her period to come. Why is it that you can't just give them a nice answer instead of scaring them. You tell them stories of cramping and bloating when you could just tell her the answer to her question.

3 cheers for you
Most girls are so shy of their bodies by misguided and poorly worded instructions from parents and peers.
Curiosity about their physiology has been twisted into being just SEX. There is always a fear of being made fun of. besides many girls and young women (not ladies) are just mean. 66M

Ok well First I didn't see this but having your period is not the best thing ever it does SUCK and why not tell it how it is. Every girl is different in there periods but we shouldn't have to sugar coat it. This must be a guy who asked this question

Sorry, I don't know about the question you're referring to. Could you edit your question and add the link? That might be helpful.
