take it from someone who has dealt with serious acne scars as a child and into early teen years:
chemical peels
microdermabrasion
ip light photo rejuvenation
daily vitamins
vitamin E
Biotin supplements
water water water
loooooooots of spinach and dark green foods
clinique skin renewal (small blue jar) AMAZING stuff
do your research.
the photo rejuvenation is by far the best but the most expensive treatment. the scars never 100% go away but they are about 90% gone compared to what they used to be. my skin glows.
there's no overnight way to get rid of scars, but there are steps you can take to be on your way to having better skin.

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.
In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.
Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.
In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.
If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

Acne scars WILL go away over time. I do not know of anything that will get rid of scars quickly.. but you can do things to help. Use sunblock and avoid the sun because acne scars will become more noticiable (seventeen magazine). I heard aloe vera helps removes scarring the best. I personally use aveeno clear complexion. It helps even out skin naturally and even has salicylic acid to prevent breakouts. I use that at night and my face looks really smooth and even. During the day I use aveeno with SPF. I love it because it does not make your face oily. The only way to prevent scars is to not touch your zits. They can become "holes" in your face. See a dermatologist because a lot of my friends had bad acne in the past and now they have baby smooth skin! It is also better to prevent more acne by going to a doctor before it's too late and the holes are unhealable.

There is no such thing as quick when it comes to pimples. I suggest getting some kind of pimple remover (clearasil will work) dot the pimple scars (only the scar nothing else, & don't spread, just dot), this should dry out the scar so that eventually it shoud kinda peel of or dry off however you want to put it. I think it might take at least a week though, but it does work. Cover it with a little concealer if it takes to long.

Some facial characteristics make us unique and different. They are not necessarily ugly, and can actually make us more appealing to some suitors. My opinion is to forget about having a perfect skin complexion and simply live a healthy life style. Don't forget that both the male and female sexes have to deal with skin blemishes, so you are not alone.

It depends on your type/shade of skin...and no not all skin is created equal. Your best bet is to see a dermatologist. Yeah, the consultation might be expensive ($150) and insurance won't cover it, but you could be doing worse damage by using the wrong product!
