Easy......it sounds like alot of work but it isn't......use a "squeegie" after you shower to remove and dry the glass and you'll never ever have build up. It works great!

Buy a bathroom cleaner with a limescale remover in it, spray the glass about 10 minutes before you have your shower and clean with a sponge or other clean cloth after your shower. It is the limescale which dulls the glass.

The trick is how you dry it. Use loo roll to apply and then wipe off the vinegar. To wipe it off, do very small circular rubs, making sure one area is totally dry before moving on to the next. Works a charm. Best for mirrors, though. Can't really be bothered with it for the shower glass.

You wont keep it clean unless you have Pilkington K glass in it, which has an enzyme in the glass that attacks dirt.
Use RainX, it will stop the water staying on the glass and will just bead off. This will reduce the problem, as it is caused by water drying and the soap/limestone residue from the water remaining on the glass.

A steamer product, such as sharks steamer and the squeegee
adapter. I had the same problem, but once hit with steam it went away, and cleaned up the build-up of chemicals used over the years. The glass is very clean and shiny.....

You may need to us a cleaner for lime or mineral deposits. I can't think of the name of any now. Anyway, once you get it clean again, keep a squeegee in there and use it every time you take a shower. This will help keep it from building back up!

I had the same problem -- white water streaks ? Mr. Clean Magic Sponge removed them with just a little effort. It is a white sponge-like product. Wet it and use it, it will eventually compress and become unusable, then throw it away. I'm not certain of the name (above) but it is white and packaged in a yellow ??? i think box,

good luck

My ex used Rain-X on the glass and it seemed to stay clean as long as we treated about 1 every six weeks.
