I have not done this myself, but have heard that if you take hairspray and spray it on the inked area then wash the jeans it will come out. Worth a try for a favorite pair of jeans. Good Luck!

If you have not washed then and tried anything else get some fresh milk and lay the spot where the ink is in the milk and soak overnight in the morning rub and wash as normal.
I have used this method on many occasions and never being disappointed

I can appreciate a good pair of jeans! Use hairspray, I'm telling you, it works. Just spray the hairspray on the jeans where the pen is and it will rub out. get the hairspray out with water or a wash and your jeans are saved.

If it's Biro or felt tip, spray it with WD40, leave for about 15 mins then wash them. Gets all biro and felt tip off my kids clothes. Don't leave it on any longer though!

Rubbing alcohol. Dab a little bit on a rag, then use it to dissolve the ink. It takes time but it works
