Ok, well I am in high school, and I play soccer, and my thighs are full of muscle, and my stomach is not very big, I weigh 110 pounds and I'm a senior, but to me I look fat compared to all my friends, what should I do? Should I become anorexic? Please help me!

the most stupidest thing to do is to go anorexic. dry eatting more fruits/vegies and be lucky that you weigh 110. some people would kill to weigh that much. trust me you don't need to lose weight.

NO!!!!! that is the most dangerous cycle you could go on, either you end up dying or spiraling out of control and becoming even heavier than you are now, there are studies that prove this. If you are eating healthy now and stay active then you could stay trim for your whole life, 110 IS NOT FAT! i dont care if you are 4'11 it just isnt. You obviously have a distorted body image so you need ot get away from the tv and magazines for awhile, and dont compare yourself to your friends, if they are super skinny then they pry havent quite gotten to that stage yet where you grow more womanly curves. it will happen. but starving yourself only sets yourself up for mistakes. Doctors say that most obese people are results of starvation and yo you diets that spiral out of control when the body rebels, and it will! so do yourself a favor now and just be healthy, dont let your body image get mixed up with your self image. Find something to get your mind off of weight, something you love doing and focus on that. I love doing devotionals they remind me that I have value no matter how I look. good luck and God bless.

First of all, anorexia is a mental illness. You don't just "become" anorexic then, get rid of it whenever you please. You shouldn't talk about such things so casually. Why don't you try HEALTHY DIET AND EXERCISE instead? Also, you never listed your height. How are we supposed to evaluate your weight if we don't even know your height? The only way 110 would be "fat" is if you were 4'10 or something. Then it would probably just qualify as being "chubby". If you honestly want to loose weight go to a nutritionist and start an exercise program.

1st of all, no one will ever see you as you see yourself. And most importatly no one sees you as much as you see yourself so naturally you are your own worst critic. I was a dancer/gymnast in high school which I think is the most lethal combination as far as body image is concerned. I remember getting thinner and thinner and having it be like adding gasoline to a fire whenever anyone was telling me I was getting thinner. Its a control issue...when everything else in our life seems to be spinning out of control you do have control over something...what you put in your mouth. And besides being crabby and exhausted all the time, I was thin. I never got hospitalized b/c my parents caught on to my "tricks"...NO I'M NOT GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT THEY ARE :-)...I pretty much had one of them around to watch me eat and I got better. However, NOW, at 26 y/o I have servere irregularity in menstration which might turn out to be fertility issues. So don't only be thinking of the damage you could be doing now but the future, PERMANENT damage you will be doing.

The other thing is no one else knows what's going on in your mind except for someone else who's been through it. Keep in mind I said been THROUGH in the past tense. Avoid other anorexics like the plague cuz they will fuel the fire too and it might turn into a "who can get thinner quicker" competition. Everyone else on this board does NOT know what you're going through so do NOT listen to them preach at you!

u r crazy gal! do not diet! u might just end up like nicole richie and dat is bad.just eat healthily and workout a few times a week. everyone is created by GOD diff. u r not overweight.believe dat.besides guys like something to hang on to. :) i mean a lil meat is sexy. nobody will look good like a human hanger.anorexia just **** up ur bodily functions and might be life threatening.

NO! do not become anorexic. it's horrible for your body and it could become really serious. you are in perfect shape, and you play soccer, so just eat healthy so you won't gain any weight.

hell no if u become anorexic u can die from starvation!!!110 is not alot and since u play soccer ur probally all muscle!!!but trust me u aint fat...i've seen fat and u homie aint it.

No, if you're actively playing soccer and eating right you'll be healthy and any weight you have will just be muscle, nothing wrong with that.
