What you do is what we lawyers call "grieving on" someone. You write the local bar association and tell them what your lawyer did. Then they write the lawyer and the lawyer gets in a sh!tload of trouble. Very satisfying for you, very terrifying for him/her.
That's basically what to do.

You can't sue him for that, but every state has an agency that licenses lawyers and disciplines them as well. Failure to communicate with a client about an open case is a sanctionable act. Find the agency in your state and file a complaint with them. This will require that you get a new lawyer, as a lawyer cannot represent you anymore once you have accused them of wrongdoing.

he changed his mind suddenly? maybe she is paying him off or sleeping with him..just a thought. cause now it seems he is favoring. do you have kids together? that may be a possible reason. but i plan to become a lawyer when i am older. i am 14..and yes report it to the Bar Association. and close the case with the lawyer and get a new one. actually some lawyers charge you every time you call them..so beware.
