Why do we as a society teach our children to not fight and walk away when they are faced with a problematic person? If "Liberals" are cowards for wanting to use other alternatives and not war as the first choice, then we as a society should stop teaching our kids that fighting is wrong and no matter what they should always throw punches first when confronted with a bully, even if the bully will beat them up.

Liberals aren't cowards, republicans just like to spin everything. They would have you a piece of crap and tell you it's black gold. Then they'd have Fox news do a story on it and next thing you know it's in office for 8 years.

When we were children, everything was black and white. Bullies were bad, recess was good. Falling out of a tree was bad, being able to go "no-hands" on your bike was good.
Most of us, as we reach adulthood, realize that everything is no longer in black and white. Sometimes you can walk away from a fight...other times you cannot.
Sometimes words can prevent a person from bombing a building; but other times you just need a bigger gun.
This is the sad, degenerate state our world is in.
I don't believe that liberals are cowards...because there are some liberals who LOVE to pick fights.
However, sometimes pacifists are wrong. Sometimes we NEED to take more aggressive action. Look at history. Did we have another option out of WWII?
Look at now. Will the terrorists stop attacking us, if we just "talk" to them? No, they'll behead a pacifist just as fast as they would a soldier. That's just the way it is.
That's the gray area. It's sad, isn't it?
It makes me want to go back to being a child.

you're absolutely right, what has war ever solved besides Genocide, Slavery, Opression, Communism, Fascist Regimes, Despotism, Human Rights violations, the Holocaust, and Terrorism? We don't need war, i mean im sure the terrorists will bargain with us, all we have to do is die, thats not that big of an inconvienence is it? Liberals are cowards because there are timeds when war is necassary, liberals dont even want to go to war then. We could not let Adlolf Hitler conquer Europe, because then he would have conquered us. But you're right, im sure he would have negotiated out of it, i mean Neville Chamberlains negotiations worked so well.

That only works when there is somebody to "protect you." In the rest of the world, that's a good way to get killed. Running away gets you a bullet in the back. In the 90s, general butt naked killed over 1,000 people, including his body guards, with a machete in Africa completely naked. Just one guy with a gun would have taken him down.

If you teach your children that it is wrong to defend themselves,that is your problem.My children don't run around and pick fights,but if attacked by a bully, they know how,and are encouraged, to defend themselves.It is the liberals who are teaching the" run for your life" mentality,not conservatives.
