Hi:
It's called Catabolism. And the energy is used by the second organism for it's own metabolic pathways and consumption.

This is seen very evidently in breakdown of compounds in nature, especially xenobiotics (man-made compounds) like say pesticides, where the residual pesticides are first broken down by one type of bacteria/ fungi and the byproducts are broken down by another type of bacteria. The chain could continue till the compound is broken down to it's basics.

what? like, the bacteria in our intestines? Those are called symbiotic bacteria.

Enzymes are sorta related to this too. They're simply large proteins that accellerate chemical reactions in the body.
