I multiple sclerosis,I lost the use of 4 toes on my left foot,
and my left hand is very week,
I know people who are blind from it,and others who cannot walk
I believe in never giving up,and learning new ways to do things
support groups,and physical activities everyday
I went from not being able to walk, or tie my shoes,to crutches then a cane, and 2 years of determination.to now walking on my own, and taking care of myself
I dont know what your disability is,
there are many support groups out there, email me if you like

Not every disability can be overcome, however in most cases it need not be an obstacle to much of what that person wants from life.

Attitude is probably most important. The person has to want to do it, and not give up and feel sorry for themselves.

Supportive network - family and friends, is probably second most important. Sometimes those that love you think they are doing you a favor by keeping you dependent, thus asuaging their guilty feelings that your body is less than perfect. But good support means pushing you to acheive new milestones AND being there to pick you up when you fail, without judgement.

Thirdly would be seeking out the proper resources to assist in obtaining whatever special accomodationso or help you need to make it happen.

Just forget that he is disabled, engage in all the activities you can, make it as a challenge,... Many such answers will come for your question. But the best the thing that you can do is think of god, think of who suffers more than you, then you will forget your disability
