With my daughter I got pregnant the first time me and my husband had sex. I was not on the pill. Then on my daughter 1st b-day I found out that I was pregnant with my son. When here body is ready then you will get a child. Everyone one is different. No two people are the same. So keep trying and don't give up.

My first was conceived within 6 months of becoming sexually active with my first sexual partner. I knew almost immediately. I had never taken birth control pills or practiced any other form of birth control. I was only 18 at the time. I was not trying to become pregnant, and was really not happy about it, but I guess it's what I should have expected, if I'd been realistic.

I have a friend that was trying to get pregnant and it took 10 months after she got off the pill. She told me a lot about her situation. Believe it or not, when people are trying to have a baby it is much harder and the reason it that in order for the woman to have a better chance of getting pregnant she has to ***. (I did not think that was true but thats what she said the doctor said) It is very hard to acheive that when the only thing on your mind is getting pregnant. You have to enjoy the sex as you would when you have sex for pleasure. Making it just about having a baby will make it harder.

Everyone is different. A lot of people that want a baby so bad they try hard and it takes forever for them to get pregnant. I was on the pill. I skipped a few pills, which was not done on purpose. I ended up getting pregnant. I am due nov 7. Don't force it. Just have and enjoy sex and your wife will get pregnant.

I never took birth control and it took 5 yrs. the 1st time, but than it was hard not getting pregnant. I do know from people on the pill, the longer your on it it seems harder to get pregnant. I know a couple that was on the pill quite a few years when they tried to get pregnant they couldn't so were talking about adoption but 11 yrs. after trying she finally conceived!

I was on the pill for about 7 years when we decided to start trying for a baby. And we got pregnant right away. My husband and I are also both very healthy so i'm sure it will take no time for you guys to conceive! Just don't think about it and have fun trying!
GOOD LUCK!

It took me two months to get pregnant, I was never on a pill. I did read that it takes anything from 2 to 6 months for effect of the pill to wear off. Conception requires loads of patience and will - contrary to how easy people can make it seem.

I think it is different for everyone...My husband and I got pregnant in our second month of trying. Don't worry about it; just have fun. I mean the fun part about "trying" is that you get to "try" several times a month. I was 26 when we started trying and had been on birth control pills for 10 years.

Glad to hear good questions from the opposite sex. My husband and I conceived our first child less than 3 months after our wedding; and we weren't really trying. At the same time, I had not been taking birth control for more than a 6 months. Yes, if you stop taking birth control to conceive, it can take up to 6 years to conceive. If you plan to start trying in a couple of months, my advice is to stop taking it immediately for immaculate conception. I began birth control after my daughter and right before her first birthday, we discovered we were pregnant- dispite the BC. It really depends on the fertility of the couple. Good Luck!!!!
