In this day and age I would celebrate every chance you get. If it is special to you, then celebrate it! Celebrate each other. You could celbrate this being the first September of your marriage, or the first fall, or the first FOOTBALL season if you want to. Why not? You two found each other in this crazy world so celebrate every day you have together. You never know how quickly it all can end, and you don't want to look back and think about how you took it for granted. If your husband doesn't share your initial enthusiasm for celebrations go ahead and celebrate anyway and make it special each time for him also. Trust me he will come around. I was taught to treat a lady like a queen and she will act like one. I say the same goes for us guys. Well OK, don't treat him like a queen, but treat him like a king. Ha Ha.

Isn't every day of marriage a celebration? ;)
We went out for a nice dinner on our 1 month anniversary as a kind of joke that we hadn't killed each other...yet.
We're hitting 3 years come October but my husband already got his present in March. He's going to school fulltime now so I can't expect an $$ present. I'll be fortunate if I get a stinkin' card this year.
So I say celebrate it while you still have it in ya to do so!

I think it is great if the two of you are celebrating 3 months- some people in the end don't even celebrate 5,10,15, or even 20 years! Celebrating your love for each other should be every chance and reason or no reason you get!

I'm not married yet, but my boyfriend and I celebrate on the 6th every month. Our first date was on the 6th four years ago. We know that evening is set aside just for eachother. I'm sure we'll still do it when we're married.

we didn't really, but i don't think it's weird whatsoever. if you are enjoying married life and love each other, there should be no specific reason for a celebration. special celebrations can help keep things fun and can be quite romantic!
