I don't call him.. Let him call me.. and instead of staying home by myself, go out with my friends and don't call him, that way he'll think about what I am doing, and then maybe he'll start to come around more?

Don't play games. If he's not calling, go out and have a good time. If he starts calling again you can take it from there. If not, it won't matter because you will be out having a good time. (Where you might meet someone new...)
