WOW where did you get that concept? I always found it to be the opposite. You have to earn my hate . Love just comes naturally.

hate requires emotive thinking which is our most powerful and lowest level of thinking ,closed minded .so it is easy to not see or understand and hold on to bias,or fears,no effort required
love- requires emotive thought as well as compassion and one must be able to reason, change their shoes and consider other perspectives with an open mind and heart, a most difficult task indeed, facing your fears and admitting your faults, sacrifice, empathy, facing and conquering your fears and if in a commited relationship, the elimination of the walk out option and need for compromise are very tall orders that one follows for love, all require effort and it is understandable why is there is so much inhumanity and contempt in the world, it is just so much easier not to care

Love is a commitment, hate is an emotion. A commitment takes work where an emotion takes no energy or forethought.

Hate abounds because of people's sinfulness, ignorance and giving in to the baser instincts.

They're very similar emotions. I feel love is more difficult because you're opening yourself up to pain along with the positive energies it brings. With hate, you can repress the pain in the short-term, so it feels easier initially.

However, the long-term effects of hatred are severe.

thats really the opposet for me. I'm very drawn to people, genienly friendlie. In all my life Ive only grown to hate one person. He hurt me emotionaly time and time again, In time I forgave him. I don't hate anyone right now. To hate someone .. is deep. They had to have done something extremly horrible. I'm very likely to love then hate. Ive fallen in love with many close friends and call them my brothers and sisters as they do to me.
