Mmmm
I would say that Flies adhere to a ceiling rather than land on it.
In terms of upside down , down in this case means towards the centre of the earth so no-one is upside down in this context.

for the second question
a Brilliant! concept called gravity maybe u have heard of it
for the first one
The flies can walk on vertical planes, and can even hang upside down from ceilings. This is accomplished with the surface tension of liquids secreted by glands near their feet

surface friction allows flies to "stick" to the ceiling.... (how come if you apply horizontal pressure on a body against another body it won't fall vertically?)
In the southern hemisphere, they are still right-side-up...(You mean when a boat flows over the equator, it has to turn over? Or a plane has to reverse itself flying over the equator?) just because the water swirls down a drain in the opposite direction, don't let your mind spin along with it...
or.... (they ask .. why don't we fall off? your theory fails when you ask this... it doesn't work both ways..does it?)

The answer to the first one is most definitely and satisfactorily, Magic.
The second questions, in my mind, prompts another question: Are there really people in the Southern Hemisphere, I mean apart from on the T.V.?

'Cause their tiny little feet put out a sort of super glue and thats what Super Glue is made of...smashed fly feet. As for the folks in the so. hemisphere, you'll have to ask them.

Gravity keep us all on the planet and There is no "up" or "down" when it come to the earth in space. The earth is floating in space and as far as I can tell, there is no specific direction in space.
