i have 2 best friends we've been friends since middle school and one is gay and he is very open about it and i have no problem with it you know im like ya hes hot we check out guys together in the mall and we have a blast. but my other friend gets imbaresed and is real mean to him callin him a queer and we thought she was jokin at first but she says it in a real mean way and when he gets excited and you know squeels her somethin ( which is the funniest thnig) she puts her hand up so know one can see her.
we were in the mall the other day and she was bein extra mean and like i dont want to be seen withyou if your gonna act gay and he was like" this isnt an act" then he started yellin out im gay and proud of it. ya know i was so proud of him but then she shoved himand left and we havnt talked neither me or my gay friend has talked to her for 3 days. should we talk to her or say we cant be friends with her if she cant except him?

If she is that close minded, she doesn't need to be your friend at all. Just because you dont agree with someones lifestyle doesn't mean you have the right to mistreat them.

Yeah to your friend who has embraced his sexuality and is proud of it. If your girlfriend realizes that she has lost two people who actually care about her, maybe she might open her eyes and see the errs of her ways. but dont hold your breath too long! Some people never change. In the end it will be up to you to figure out if she is someone you want to relate with. Your guy friend sounds like a blast and if you have fun with him- i say keep him!

She doesn't sound like a very good friend. Even if she didn't agree with him being gay as a friend she should try to understand and being your friend as well she should respect that he is your friend and not act so rude to him. I say you sit down, all three of you, and talk about how all of you feel about it and then decide if you can still be friends or not. And good for you sticking by your gay friends side.

She seems like a homophobic person. Sometimes people just can't accept gay people. I would continue your friendship with your gay friend as always and if she really wants to be friends with the two of you, she will speak up.
