I loooved them! Plus I'm from St. Louis so it was really cool to read about places I know. She is such a fantastic female lead, and what I like about her is that she's not Bridget Jones-y, obsessing over men, she kicks but first and foremost. Best female lead character in a book, ever.

I like them. But I'm at the "Narcissus in Chains" point -- that's my next book to read, and since I'm in college and working I don't have much time to read.
I don't really know what other books of this type I do like. I think her later books are slowly going downhill -- less editing, more grammar and spelling errors, more incomplete sentences. But I love hers for this genre better than any others currently.
I started reading the Darkhunter series. I like her story, but her writing style irks me. I know eighth graders that write better than her. Her imagination is great. But she uses too many adjectives leaving nothing for the imagination. Her thoughts from men don't come across as very real.
I don't like Anne Rice's writing style either.
I enjoy Stephen King. I enjoy older books. I don't read just one genre, I read from all over the place. Currently I'm reading The Family that Nobody Wanted -- the autobiography of Helen Doss, StarChild, and Ishmael by E.D.E.N. Southworth.
I would reccomend, in gothic literature, not exactly the progressive of LKH, The Castle of Otranto, and The Children of Udolpho.
The Haunted Bookshop by Christopher Morley is an interesting read.
I enjoy T.A. Barron.

They've gotten pretty bad. I haven't read any since Na whatever in chains and don't intend to.
After finding out that Richard is based off of her ex husband and Micah is based off of her current I got a little grossed out. I do not need to know what her sexual fantasy is with her husband, and she should write to kill or bash Richard, since the character should be separate from real life. Who wants another round of Richard/ex hubby bashing? Not I.
I love the earlier books, though. I keep rereading them. One reason I liked to read them is because they're based in the city I work in and I actually know about and have been in most of the places around here that she's writing about.
I read lots of stuff: crime fiction, true crime, fantasy, science fiction, some kids books,Harry Potter

They were good in the first few books... I stopped reading when it essentially became softcore porn. I've since traded over to Jim Butcher's 'Dresden Files' series. Similar topics, not quite so over-the-top.
