Hi,
Some good answersl, some not so good. I just bought a car from a smoker and the thing to remember here is that you don't want to make the odor worse by adding smells that do just that.
Fabreeze will cover the odor for a while. Spray the headliner, carpet and door panels. Take the mats out and sprinkle baking soda liberally in the carpet. Let it absorb a day or two then vaccum. Repeat. Bottom line is that if you don't stink it up with other odors the smoke smell will be gone in a matter of weeks.
Congratulations on not smoking!! You didn't stink it up overnight, you're not going to get the odor out overnight either.

Take a bag of charcoal (plain) and make a slit lengthwise. Place the bag in the floorboard in the back or under the seat. Allow the charcoal a week or two to clear the smell, then follow up with febreeze. This will work. Congrats on quitting.

First answer - obviously not a smoker.
Use a name brand 'Odor Neutralizer', sprinkle 'Baking Soda' inside let sit for hours, over night, vacuum, 'Vanilla Extract' poured into a saucer will absorb the orders from paint, try this for the smoke odor. CONGRATS ON THE STOPPED SMOKING!!!

Drive with your windows down as much as possible. If you have a shop vac, soak all of your upolstry with hot water and suck it back out with the wet/dry vac. Make sure you can drive around with the windows down when you are done. Febreez and all that crap just masks the smell.

Your poor car. I bet it's got cancer by now. There ought to be a law....... Try leaving the doors open tomorrow morning, in a nice breezy spot.

vacuum your car at the car wash, use the liquid air freshener, clean all non-fabric surfaces with pine-sol then armor all. then spray all your fabric with febreze fabric refresher and let it air out. a little time consuming but it works. good job for quitting!

Frebreeze make a 'new car scent'. You may have to reapply a couple times, but it should work!
