me and my wife sometimes find it hard to be accepted into the "normal" society in our town. it is small and old fashioned. we have 2 children and people react differently.

Two women aren't an everyday normal couple. An apple isn't accepted as a banana. If this is the way of life you chose, then this is the result. I personally, feel sorry for the children.

If you really were one of a lesbian couple, you'd have come to grips with this question long ago. You're obviously a male looking to stir up controversy. So I'll ask you: how does the relationship between two women, who are not at all related to you, impact your life? It dosen't, does it? So why not just mind your own business?

Why not? There is no real definition of the word Normal. What is normal for you may not be normal for everyone else. But in America we are supposed to be the Land of the Free? We have freedom to express ourselves.
My feeling is, if I don't care for your way of thinking then ok, if you don't push it on me and I don't push my beliefs on you. Every person in America has the right to do what they want. Two people of the same sex should have every right that two people of the opposite sex... Who cares if you are lucky enough to find love why let it go? Just because people don't think it's normal?
People need to get over it!
I think if you are lucky enough to find your love in this crazy world. Don't ever let it go! And don't care about what other people think - they are just miserable about themselves and have to find ways to make other people miserable.

I think so. You ARE a family, you should be treated as one. I have many friends in Alabama who are in the same situation and they are accepted very well. Even in church. Good luck and I hope you find the peace that you deserve.

Absolutely, but only if both are under 35, under 125lbs, and could be considered eye candy. The same does not hold true for two males.

To each their own, but in a small town you are going to have more trouble, they tend to stick to what they know, and reject what they don't like or understand.
