go to wh smiths and buy a red letter day, something there for everyone. from skydiving to salsa. prices from £20-50.
i have always found them very use full as people always appreciate a thought out present. have they ever hinted that they would like to try something different? hope this helps.

At they age most people have everything they want or in a position to buy it.

I think a nice bouquet is flowers is always acceptable. Either that or a nice potted plant.

How about a luxurious Chanel lipstick. Not too expensive but a real treat something she probably doesn't buy herself.

your kind going threw all this trouble for your friend well i think a kind person like you should get one of thoose cards where u can put on so much money for em to spend in there favurite shops a gift card there great she/he will love it !
