Hummm - Talk to him.
Tell him how u feel. If he ignores your views and wont listen to you and will give no good reason to stay - think about moving on as he would at least listen to u if he valued u.

Well, if you love your husband you will go where he has to go for work. (that is if this is the reason you live in this state) I moved around the world with my first husband for over 30 years. I hated it and it was SO difficult with kids, but I did it because it was his job and because I loved him. When you are living in a state that you hate, you have to find something that you love to do to occupy your time. It gets your mind off of where you are living. Do volunteer work somewhere to help others who need your help. Hospital, clinics, nursing homes or human society. This will indeed help you by helping others.

Are you referring to "state" as to your living conditions, or as one of the 50? If it's living conditions, try doing something about it. Redecorate, paint, wall paper, refurnish, clean up, etc. If finances are an issue, get a job, full or part time.
If you need a change to one of the other 49, good luck. The grass only looks greener on the other side.

Post a resume on line and see if you can get a good job in the state in which you want to live. Then present that to him. It will help sweeten the notion of moving for him.

Is it the state you live in geometricly, or the state of your marriage. If you just need a change of scenery, tell him you are moving, and he is welcome to come with you. It worked for me. And if it is your marriage, a bad husband is going to be a bad husband in any state on the map.
