Gates, McCardel, and Tomlinson look like the top receivers...I think San Diego is going to be a hard core rushing team this season and if you want to get Rivers...do it, but don't start him until you see him playing up to expectations. He's as big of a sleeper as Brett Favre is. Favre has a lot of great targets in Driver, Ferguson, and Garder who have been around. But don't forget about Franks, Green, and rookie Greg Jennings who looks better than a lot of starting receivers in the NFL. For San Diego...Parker and Jackson might have good years...but they don't really compare to Favre's targets. I would gamble with Favre before Rivers if he's available...but if not...Rivers would be a nice guy to have.

Rivers is a chunk of crap who has no room to assert something to each and every body. He jogged my memory of a few little youngster performing hard even as hiding behind his huge brothers. The humorous ingredient is Cutler is more beneficial positive than Rivers now even although Rivers has more beneficial expertise round him. i'm looking ahead to seeing the seem on his face after he throws 3 INTs and the Chargers lose yet another playoff interest.

Sleeper? Maybe dozer in that he'll put San Diego fans to sleep with his poor play. Rivers will struggle this year and SD fans will be asking for his head not too long into the season.

rivers has talent. but being a starter with hardly any experience except for a horrible preseason this year he can do good. he must move the ball into their key players hands. antonio gates.

not really. I know he's done well in the pre-season, but his mechanics are awful. I see him leading the leagues in batted-balls. He has Gates and LT, but no WR's to speak of. And they have a tough division as well. I'm not sold on him.
