Do you think they have improved over the last few years, and may actually be good this year? They did look good in pre-season, and I'm thinking they may be a surprise this year.

They will be better than most people think. However, don't take them until the end of the draft.

Well, you could do much worse...but if you want to get them, don't draft them before the last few rounds because there will be better defenses still available probably, two of my fantasy leagues still have the Vikings in free agency and I'm thinking about taking them for a few games, like against New Orleans. If you do take them...don't play them against some of the more potent offenses...like Carolina...Steve Smith put 201 yards on them last time they played, and this time Colbert and Carter are healthy and ready to play..oh and that one guy we got...Keyshawn :P He'll draw a little coverage or else he'll get the balls...if you double Johnson and Smith...Foster and Colbert will get the balls...Carter is arguably faster than Smith (as he's taller) and can also add a deep threat on the other side as Johnson is playing slot for us this season....As I babble I hope I made some kind of point against taking the Vikings who couldn't cover one WR and have to play 5 healthy (hopefully) in week 2.

Vikes are a middle of the pack unit on D. There are much better picks for a fantasy D out there. Chicago, Carolina, Tampa, Jacksonville, Washington, Baltimore...just to name a few.

i wouls commence ravens def, the reason being hester out cutler leads the lg in INTS he doesnt seem tht great this year. they have a good run def so that they ganna make cutler throw meaning more effective ints. i ought to commence benson, he looks great all year, they're playin for chris henry and the def cord spouse so benson ganna play more effective complicated. Gore is playin a good def so def dnt commence him. i ought to commence Ravens D and Benson good success

they were one of my 'sleepers' this year. I wouldn't use them across the board, but they could have a few good matchups if your #1 D is on a bye.
