this is a trick question it dosnt matter how good a playbook is if you dont have the talent to run the plays. like USC and Texas all there playbooks say is give it to vince or hand it to bush so they cant be counted as number one, but urben myer (cant spell his name) or the coach for flordia has a great playbook when he was the coach for Utah he lead his team to a bcs bowl game win there for becoming the first non-bcs team to win a bcs bowl game and he did with no big name talent sure alex smith was first pick but we can all agree that so far he is a bust and that the talent pool that year was mediocre at best and if he would of went in with leinart and young he wouldnt of even got drafted til the 3rd or 4th round at best, so i would have to say that mayer has the best playbook in college right now he had no big name talent at utah but still scored big time points and won a ton of games. but he is at flordia now so could very well change in a few years.

Well, the Texas Longhorns scored 50.2 points per game last year, which led the nation, and they won the National Chapionship, so that would be my vote.
