Why can't people spell properly??

That should read "and THEY are texting. and "Where ARE the grownups?" and please don't end your sentences with a preposition. It's not grammatically correct.

I totally agree with you. However, I feel it necessary to bring to your attention several mistakes in your question, including a few grammatical and punctuation errors, and even a missing word. The most blatant mistake (in my opinion) is that you ended a sentence with a preposition.
Please don't criticize until you work on your own spelling and grammar.

English is hard!!! sometimes a letter sounds like it should and sometimes it sounds properly, it is confusing, i think i dont have many mistakes but it is hard to spell and write properly, and people are lazy to click the check spelling button... really, i am a grown up. I am able to spell correctly, and english isnt my native language!!!

Because everyone types too fast, when your a kid your learning to spell and you get good pratice, but when you grow up you know already and you don't have that practice. Besides, adults wanna type in something faster than a kid wants too so they make mistakes.

Are you an english teacher? Know what you mean though. It is because alot of teeny boppers on here who really don't care how to spell let alone knowing how.

does it really matter as long as you can understand it, it may not be kids it may be people that know English as a second language you don't know, or maybe they didn't complete school or maybe peoples mouth or thoughts move faster than their hands so they have a hard time getting it all out

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets annoyed by that! I mean come on..you don't even need to know how to spell in order to spell correctly on here..all you need to know how to do is click "check spelling". People are too stupid to even do that!
