Yep, the baby is getting too big to move. Im almost 38 weeks and while the baby has "dropped" and in position for birth there is still some movement. But there just simply not enough room for the baby to move like it used to

I am right along with you - same due date & all! I bet you're ready too! I know I am! YES - it is totally normal for the baby to slow down a bit these last couple weeks. Especially being that he is engaged.... once this happens the baby can only wiggle from side to side & the movements are more of a 'squirming' rather than 'punching & kicking'! So long as you feel him move periodically throughout the day - all should be well! It's getting quite cramped in there and soon your baby will be in your arms - - - wont that be wonderful! Best of luck!

Yes its normal for the movements to slow down your baby is between 4lb-7lbs now and is ready to be born at any moment. There is literally no room left for your child to move around anymore...so the movements are just nudges(as the baby tries to get comfortable)....Don't worry...but you should still feel 10 "nudges" in an hour after every meal.....

Otherwise your fine and goodl luck with labor!!!

i think of a few of those solutions are BS. Your husband does prefer you. and you will have intercourse up until transport day except your in a extreme possibility being pregnant or your surgeon has advised you to no longer. Im 34 weeks pregnant. And we've had this undertaking. Ive merely gotten so tight. attempt fooling around a touch in the previous. enable him play with you down there and it will loosen you up or attempt it contained in the bathe. good success and that i comprehend the way you experience.

Yes, it is perfectly normal for your baby to be less active in the days leading up to his/her birth. He/she is getting larger resulting in much less room to move around. Best wishes on a healthy baby. Sept. 20 is my grandma's and my son's birthday.

Don't worry.

When I was pregnant w/ my second son I had low low amniotic fluids and the placenta was laying low in the uterus, which was blocking the birth canal.

At the end everything went very smooth no complications at all.

yep, the baby almost stops moving completely right before delivery, or atleast it seems that way. There just isnt enough room anymore. Its perfectly normal!

yep! once the baby has dropped there isn't as much room to move around as before, plus, he is getting bigger and therefore there is less room too!

I would have it checked by a doctor for your own piece of mind, and to avert any possibly impending disaster. Good luck.
