does it feel like your going to get your period even though you havent got your period, but its coming soon!!! Do you get those cramps like your having your period. Its just confusing!!!

It is confusing. Been there and done that. The only way I got my answer was by waiting to see. My mama said she had her cycle though everytime she got pregnant and there are three of us?????If you exceed a month without a cycle, schedule you a doctors appointment to make sure everything i ok.

Having mild menstrual like cramps is very normal in early pregnancy. It's just your uterus stretching out and making room for your growing baby. This said, it can be very confusing and scary if you didn't know to expect this. If you haven't' already get a home test and see for sure if you are pregnant. Starting pre-natal care right away is very important.

The cramps should never be strong, uncomfortable or have bleeding associated with them. If you do feel these types of cramps or a strong vice-like grip across your lower back, this is a sign of a possible miscarriage, and you need to get to your OBGYN right away. I've miscarried twice, and both times this was the key symptom for me.

You can take Tylenol for your cramps, but NOT ibuprofen or aspirin, these will harm your growing baby.

I also suggest getting a pregnancy book. Many doctors recommend "What to Expect When You're Expecting" which is a good reference to have. There are also other books too, so if you have a friend who recommends something go with that too.

If you think you are pregnancy and don't want to go to a doctor for confirmation, go to the drug store and the pharmacist will help you pick an OTC pregnancy test, cost aboaut $10.
