I've only seen the original with Vincent Price--I love that movie and have it on DVD---no, I was not very scared, but it's a classic nonetheless

not scary...although the part with the finger being cut thing made me sick to the pit of my stomach LOL
Paris being one of the cast was just a means of making the film marketable...any amateur actress could do better than she did. She has a blunt or flat affect/ facial expression

depends. did u mean the old great film, with vincent price? or did u mean the really bad new version with[gulp]paris hilton? saw the 1st, threw the other in the trash. try veiwing the old 1. then U compare.
