Canines. As people like to say,"A dog is a man's best friend." So I 'll hate to think of what a feline is suppose to be.

Felines -- they are easier to take care of and if you treat them right, they will be equally as loyal and affectionate as a canine. I wish I could just teach my cat how to walk on a leash though...

I love and own both and I don't prefer one over another. It really depends on what kind of mood I'm in. Energetic, happy mood= dog. Lazy, sleepy mood= cat. But I do feel that cats can be more entertaining because they're such characters. Dogs try to impress you and be funny but when a cat makes a "f-up", it's so much funnier with that non-chalant look of shame!

I prefer canines but love all animals. My baby is a great dane that weighs 173 and she kinda owns me lol. Thats her picture for my screenname :) Cleopatra

Dogs personally. For people with a lot of spare time the are good pets. Cats are best for people with very little free time, because they are self contained, litter box food and water they are good to go.

I like both, but if I were to choose I'd favor dogs slightly more since they seem to appreciate human companionship more. Cats are cool too but you have to deal with them on their own terms and can turn on you if they're in a bad mood.

i love them both for example we have an american bulldog which is my big baby and she is great formy 4 yr old to play with b/c she protects her from whatever. then we also have a kitten for my new baby who is almost 5 months. they play together and they love each other. so i guess it depends on what u like and what type of person u are.
