I think a perfect world would have been for Jesus to remain both human and divine on earth until he conquered all his enemies. Of course, then we might not have been forgiven for our sins since that is why He died.
No wars.
No racism.
No hate.
Be content with what you have.
Offer help to those in need.
Give more of yourself to others.
Pay it forward.
Too many to think of for such a deep question, but enjoyed reading it.

My perfect world would consit of many things. First Ted Kennedy would be president. Next the Red Sox would be the number one team in America ( ALE) , the Boston Celtics would be # 1 in Basketball, and the Boston Bruins would # 1 in Hockey. The next thing would be that I would be married to that steamy, hunky, dreamy, stallion of an actor , David Hyde Pierce. And finally the only cranberry and or bean products would be from Beantown.

Frankly, I doubt we have any idea what a truly perfect world would be like. And it may not even be a good idea to live in one, just because we DON'T know what it would be like.
As for how we can improve our own world, the one biggest thing we need is for people to smarten up. Everything else then comes naturally.

My idea of a perfect world would be one where pedophiles didn't exist, so we could go back to just being parents to our children, rather than security guards. And our children could go back to being children, rather than being in 'lock-down' because parents are trying to keep them safe.
Also, because I read so many narrow-minded, stereotyped viewpoints here, in my perfect world, people would open their minds and understand how crazy it is to just put every this, every that on earth into one little box.
My my perfect world, racism would cease to exist, as would poverty. I have no idea how to bring these things about. My plate is already full trying to move away from my lunatic neighbor, recover from surgery while not receiving one dime of disability benefits from my employer and keep a roof over mine and my daughters' heads. There are two terms I've come to hate: downsizing and condo-conversions.

A perfect world - that is what it will be when GOD comes back to earth! No murders/hungry/sexual problems/wars/leaders (except GOD/JESUS)/housing. All children will be loved and not abused!@
