The Premiership doesn't touch La Liga.
The English league is so boring, uncompetative (who will win this year?...hmmm.. Chelsea?) and only the good players who are past their peak and want one last pay day, move there.
Ronaldinho would never play in England
Shevchenko is passed his peak that's why he's there now.
Eto'o - too good for the Premiership
Cannavaro - too good
Buffon - too good
You ignorant English live in a ******* dreamland.
Considering it's the richest and most overpaid/overhyped league in the world, you'd think the English WOULD be the best but sadly not.

The condescension in your question is way off-base. La Liga has a claim to have the best league right now. Although I wouldn't agree with that claim, a Liga team won the Champion's League last year and will be contenders for it again this year. They have many of the best players in the world. (Think about all the Brazillians there.) And it's generally a much more competitive league than the EPL is. Many teams vie for the top in La Liga while in the EPL it's always the same three or four teams. ...Now that said, I still think the Premiership is a stronger team because the 4 good teams are ALL contending for winning the Champion's League, but the difference between EPL & Liga isn't all that great.

I think (and most footballers who have played in both leagues say this) that La Liga already is ahead of the Premiership in technical terms.
However for entertainment I would say the Premiership is well above it. Perhaps it's because I'm English and I've been brought up with fast and frantic football, but it just seems to have something that most other leagues don't have.
As for will spain ever attract the same sort of players? If you mean in a class way, then I think they already have players on a par with those in the premiership. Ronaldinho, Eto and Cassillas already spring to mind. If you mean in the same playing style, probably not. Some of these players would struggle to adapt, in the same way that some English players struggle to adapt on the continent, just because the game is played in such a different style.
I also have to remind you that the holders of the UEFA cup and the European Cup are both spanish, so to suggest that La Liga as primative in it's effectiveness is bizarre. Although the runners up in both comps were English...

I don't think La liga will be better than the Premiership in the near future because La Liga play their football at a much lower tempo than the Premiership. I would expect more world class players to move to the Premiership rather than La Liga due to this reason.

NEVER,IN LA LIGA IF A PLAYER
GETS A INJURY,OUT 4 AROUND
3 OR 4 MONTHS THEY BUY A NEW 1.

THEN WHEN THAT PLAYER RECOVERS,
HE NEVER GETS PLAYED,THEN LEAVES THE
CLUB.

PREMIERSHIP IS EXITING,lA LIGA IS
PASS,PASS,PASS,PASS ETC.

PREMIERSHIP YOU CAN ALWAYS EXPECT
A SURPRISE,LA LIGA ONLY 2 OR 3 BATTLING
4 THE TITLE,IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE
SEASON ONLY 2.

THE SECOND BIGGEST LEAGUE IN THE
WORLD IS SERIA A,IN ITALY YOU SAW
IT LAST SEASON,JUVE WERE ABOUT
11 POINTS IN FRONT OF MILAN.

THEN A COUPLE OF WEEKS LATER
MILAN ARE A POINT BEHIND JUVE,THAT
CAN ALSO HAPPEN IN THE PREM,MANCHESTER
UNITED HAVE SHOWN THAT LOTS OF TIMES.

PREMIERSHIP IS THE BIGGEST LEAGUE
IN THE WORLD!!!
