Gotta be the Canaries at that time of year! I'd avoid Tenerife though, think it's really gone downhill.
If u want peace go to Fuetarventura (spelling?!) if u want wild sex and unlimited drinking then Playa las americas in Tenerife. Lanzarote - top beaches, Personally like Gran Canaria - Puerto Rico but don't get a hotel right at the top, it's a hell of a walk down!

Sharm, in Egypt. I got back at 4 this morning from a blissful, peaceful, hot week.
The weather was probably too hot, so October would be perfect. The Hotel (Iberotel Grand Sharm) was the nicest hotel i've ever stayed in, with the friendliest hard working staff.
And the fish swimming around the coral reef are absolutely amazing.
If it wasn't for work and cash - i'd go back right now!
Also, check out otbeach.com for booking. We got our week all inclusive for 400 less than the brochure price!

I know it's not in Europe but The Gambia is the nearest place for guaranteed sunshine. It's cheap, only five hours away and no time difference. It's great. I've been there 5 times.

I'm going to Tunisia the end of oct,it's supposed to be nice....also the canaries or cyprus are still nice and warm that time of year!!

Helen, Georgia...German village. "October Feast". German music, plenty of shopping. Beautiful in October as the trees have turned to their reds, orange colors. In the northern mountains of north Georgia.
