its so addicitng because you cant wait to see if someone left you a new message or a comment. but make a rule that yuo will only check myspace three times a week and you can only stay on myspace for 20 minutes and then slowly keep reducing that time and son you will only be going on ymspace once a week
and instead of going on the internet do something else. like instead of sending your friend a comment asking them to go to the movies tonight call them up and then do somehting together instead of sitting in front of the computer screen. yuo go online when you haev nothing else to do so fill up your day wiht diong stuff and soon you wont have time to check ymspace.

I think myspace is such a sad, sad crock of a thing...here, let me advertise MYSELF via my "coolest" pictures and show you all of my "friends" that I wouldn't even speak to if I met them the normal way...in person. I have often wondered what percentage of all of that **** is a lie...I'd guess AT LEAST 75%
That being said, it is totally addicting, and I think it's because people are really fascinating. It's like an in depth study in human behaviour! Right there on your screen are thousands and thousands of studies on what people will do/say/show to get others to pay attention to them!
Try to stop for the sake of humanity, or else don't stop but laugh a lot at other people :)

I find so much to do on "MySpace." There are so many things to do, especially participate in the forums.
If I want to find out a few things, I just ask in one of the groups' forums and I've made friends with people all over the world who are just enjoyable to talk to.
I live alone, so it's perfect for me.

i agree that myspace is extremely addicting. i'm 24 and i love it. i love changing my profile and chatting with friends and meeting new people. it's a great way to talk to people. with myspace i talk to my family and friends more than i normally would and it's also a great way to waste time if you're bored. and you can snoop around in other people's personal business if you're bored...like reading their comments and stuff. ok...really i'm not a loser i swear :)

not for me its not myspace is full of spyware and i can see from Q&A most of the people who sign up for myspace .com

cause there is so much to do on that site.... you can comment people, change your pics, change your profile, search for music, chat, search for old friends, go to your groups and each of those things can take hours.... its retarded! lol
