No, pigs can not sweat. They don't have the glands to do so. That's what their nose is for. That acts as the sweat glands, it gets wet instead of their whole body.
By the way, I thought it was funny because you make it sound like your friend was giving birth and in the midst of it, she saw a pig sweat. :O)

Pigs don't sweat lol. Thats why water should be nearby always. Some people actually uses little kiddie pools to keep there pigs cool.
When there hot, they actually tend to pant more. But they have no sweat glands.

No, pigs do not sweat.
And just FYI, the answer above that ALL mammals sweat is sooo very wrong.
There are countless mammals that don't: dogs, cats, ferrets, hamsters, rats, guinea pigs, mice aso aso aso.

omg. you really wanted to know the answer to this? i'm just trying to picture how pig sweating would come up in conversation one day. haha. anyways. no no no pigs don't sweat...they need mud to keep them cool, they don't like being dirty, they just need it to survive. and just so you know...people say dogs don't sweat...but some breeds do. have a great day :)

Yes they do.
They can also get sunburn. This is way the roll around in mud, it's a form of sunblock for them.
