I say that because the consortium that put this deal together is now going forward with takeover plans of West Ham and it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the two argentians are sold in the January transfer window for large sums of money!

If you look at that deal coldly and the precedent it sets there could be cause for alarm. Apparently both players are contracted to MSI and in a sense are being farmed out to West Ham presumably to inflate their transfer value. If they are sold at a huge price then the profit doesn't go to West Ham but to MSI and probably the players and Corinthians. Now if it becomes a trend that players are owned by Sports Agents for want of a better word then where does that leave clubs on the issues of long term deals and committment? Can you imagine a position whereby one day players contracts are in the hands of Sports Agents rather than Clubs and they are then "rented" out to whoever is willing to pay the price. It is quite a thought and will completely change the way football business is done.

Either that or the consortium will buy West Ham lock stock and barrel and re-coup their money that way. But either way it's great news for West Ham who have the opportunity to break into the top 6

No it's not dodgy. Why can't BIG stars move to West Ham. Not everyone wants to play for Man U, Arsenal, Chelsea, Real, Barca, Milan etc. Not everyone moves for the money like Ashley Cole. Some want to play for similar styled teams to their style. Plus Mascherano said he's a BIG fan of Bobby Moore R.I.P., saying he was one of his heroes and is delighted to play for Moore's club. Plus Tevez said he was impressed by Pardews attitude and the way West Ham played last season, saying they were a very impressive attacking style team, with playing techniques beyond their years.

If this does turn out to be dodgy, then lets take a look at Ronaldinho and PSG transfer, and Ronaldo and PSV transfer. In the case of the Brazilians transfers I bet they didn't want to move their but ended up there anyway, hmmm very fishy. But nthing was said.

There is a rumour that the Takeover Bid is by a Sports Management company called SMI, and a Senior Executive of that company is..........Mr Roman Abramovich.

Tevez and Mascareno play for 12 months, get some European experience, and then either go to Real Madrid for biiiig money, or accross the River to Chelski.

All i have to say is well done to West Ham, they beat huge teams to sign those guys, if they go in january then its all good for west ham, they get 4 months out of them and lots of money when they go, maybe its not as fishy as it seems, maybe some people are fed up of playing for over hyped teams like Man Utd and Real Madrid
