This is a tough question. And, you're leaving out Peter Cushing, Richard Hurndall, Rowan Atkinson, Richard Grant, Hugh Grant, Jim Broadbent, Joanna Lumley, and Lenny Henry.

Anyway, I used to think Tom Baker was the best, because he was the funniest. As I've gotten older and more sentimental, I've started to favor whichever Doctor seems to be the most caring. For a while, that was Patrick Troughton. But now, I think David Tennant has supplanted him.

Tennant went from playing a complete scumbag in Harry Potter, to playing the sweetest Doctor ever.

We haven't got to David Tennant out here in the boonies yet so i cannot talk about him.

When I was a young Dr Who addict it was Tom Baker. Lovable, not too serious about himself and slightly sexy , although not sure just why!

Now older but not wiser I adore Christopher Eccleston. That cheeky little boy about to be naughty look and those lovely eyes.

Oh and that smiling accent!

Ahh.... we dream!
