It could be if you are pregnant, but that usually only happens once after the egg implants, and it is usually old blood and is more brown. It is pretty common for women to sometimes spot between periods. Some do every month when they ovulate.

If it is midcycle between one period and the next one due, it is probably ovulation, which means you can get pregnant at this stage. I don't think you would already have pregnancy and implantation this early, although it is also true you might spot some with implantation.

pregnancy can take different women differently, they get different symptoms, some people dont know .. they may not get any signs whatsoever!
It is true that spotting is a sign, your best best is to do a pregnancy test.
