It's more of a social anxiety that being antisocial. That person is probably ok with small groups of people that he/she is very familiar with. It is something that is treatable.

There is no such thing as antisocial, but for the introvert i would advice them to start using their wings to fly. You only get to know yourself once you start interacting with other people.

To get over themselves... no one cares. People won't be mean to you if you be yourself. If they are then they aren't your friend. But how will you ever know that they are your friend if you are antisocial.

You aren't the only person they're being mean to, you're just more sensitive to it. Just know that there's nothing you can do to prevent them being mean to you, it's not your fault they're being mean, it doesn't mean you're not a worthwhile person or anything. That's just how people are. Go out knowing that you're going to get insulted and commit yourself to enjoying socializing anyway. Remember that they're probably getting insulted just as often as you are.

People with Anti-social personality, doesn't give a rat *** care about other people. They don't care about the authority/laws what more what other people think about them.

advise them that there are good people and bad people and hiding will not change that.

just go on with you're life and if anybody is mean to you(or whoever) just ignore them.
