I want to put a line of e.e.cumming's poem (can't remember the name right now) on my xanga. If i put that it's by him and the name and all, I won't get into any trouble right?

Just site your source and you'll be good to go! Go to citation machine and it will show you how to properly cite the source I don't have the web address but just go to yahoo.com and type in citation machine and you'll find it.

Just so you know if a source is siting incorrectly it is still considered plagerism, so make sure you do it right! Hope this helps!

I think that'd be okay. I also think I remember someone telling me once that, if you're writing a book and want to include part of something that's already been published, you're allowed to use up to 30 words without paying royalties.

You will be fine as long as you list all the particulars about the poem---like the author, etc.
