First off sniff out the source. Is it coming from outside a window, a vent or is it actually in the dining room. Maybe a dead animal. A fish smell would doubtfully be a dead animal. Could you have a lot of moisture in the house to bring in silver fish? If you have dead silver fish in or under your house it will smell like that.

once you've storage heaters it ought to nicely be the relationship unit has a loose connection and is burning. position your hand on the plates in the area even as the smell is round, in case you experience somewhat bit more effective warm temperature, swap off and performance it replaced. The economic equipment 7 time will commence at about the time you element out. electric powered upload-ons have phenolic or similar insulation it really is a useless ringer for fish even as overheating. ought to also be a plastic lampholder with a extreme wattage lamp outfitted. change it to a T2 kind if so.

Do you have a crawlspace or basement under your dining room? Maybe things are not sealed as well as they should be. Have an expert check your foundation.
p.s. Did you ever get the e-mail about the soon to be ex-wife putting shrimp shells inside the curtain rods? This made me think of that. Weird.

maybe its not a fish but have similar smell. When it starts to rain and there is fishy smell in your house, maybe its something to do with the soil because sometimes the fumes of the soil release when it start to rain. or maybe there's something dead small animal like rat or something that causes that smell. well good luck hunting down the source of that smell...

Something is probably dead in your walls or floor...or under your house. When it rains it gets wet and stinks! Could be mildew coming from someplace too!
